PyTivo Desktop

This application has been designed to manage multimedia files from your TiVo DVR. This application provides support for various types of files. PyTivo Desktop provides 4:3 or 16:9 output. Additionally, the padding of the video can also be managed if required. Moreover, you do not need to transfer files with transcoding; instead, it supports the transfer without the element of transcoding.

You can easily transfer the recordings from the computer to TiVo. Getting the metadata about the file is easily possible through PyTivo Desktop.

All these features have been created to help users get their video files converted efficiently. However, the interface of the application is not user-friendly. Thus, first-time users of the application have problems using it. But from the results point of view, it is efficient. HMO protocol is used for serving the video files.
