AnyToISO is a tool that allows you to easily convert many different kinds of disc images to ISO files. So, what are disc images and ISO files? Disc images (ISO is a disc image format) are files that are similar in structure to an archive.

They are found on CDs and DVDs and contain the file and folder structure. One can back up the contents of an entire hard drive in a single ISO file.

The program helps you transform images from other formats to the ISO format, which is supported by most DVD and CD burning tools on the web. The program can also mount any of these disc images to a virtual disc drive so that you can install the software or games from the image onto your hard drive. Let’s see what this tool can do for you.

The program can convert files from various formats (ISZ, BIN, DAA, RAR, ZIP, NRG, MDF, 7Z, TAR.GZ, UIF, DMG, etc.) into ISO format quickly and without any errors. Is can also extract the contents of these images into a folder on your hard drive.

You can create new ISO images from the contents of DVDs and CDs. The software support BIN and CUE, so it can rip movie DVDs with little effort. Remember that copying data from discs you own is not illegal as long as you don’t share the ISO file.

The program is able to work with Blu-ray discs as well. It can rip their contents and create ISO images. In addition, you are permitted to select folders and files and create ISO files from them. The program is integrated in Windows Explorer and Apple Finder, so it appears in the context menu when you right-click a disc image file. The Lite version is free and you also get command line support if you are tech savvy. It can mount images to virtual machines created by VMWare or Parallels – which is great if you need to deploy several virtual machines quickly.

AnyToISO does its job and passed our tests with flying colors. It is a reliable tool that works with all disc image formats. It may be simpler than Daemon Tools, but its user interface is more pleasing and well-organized.
